A Wholesome Trekking Experience: Sandakphu Phalut Trek

After undertaking the heavenly Kuari Pass Trek last year, I was very much motivated and thrilled to undertake the Sandakphu Phalut Trek in the beginning of January. And like most people say that the best way to feel refreshed is doing things that make one happy the most, I, along with my cousins undertook this trek and was (still am) completely in love with this place! My trekking journey was really a thrilling and wholesome one. Day 1: From New Jalpaiguri to Manebhanjan The trek base camp was at Manebhanjan. A drive of 4 hours from New Jalpaiguri led us to Manebhanjan. Manebhanjan is a small, serene and beautiful village in West Bengal. The ambience of this place was so quiet with peace all around. This was the initial point of the Sandakphu trek . Day 2 : Trekking from Manebhanjan to Tumling Next day, we started our trek from Manebhanjan towards Tumling, it was a 11 km trek and took around 7 hours to complete. Starting the Year With The Amazing Brahmatal Trek

 Me and family welcomed this new year with a trek and truly this was an awesome idea. After undertaking the solo Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek la st year, this year I along with my family undertook the wonderful Brahmatal Trek. The whole trekking journey was thrilling, refreshing and was indeed a great way to start the new the year with! First Day Of The Trek On the very first day of our trekking journey, we had a long yet a pretty-viewed drive from Dehradun to Lohajung. We crossed through Devprayag, Srinagar and Rudraprayag. We also witnessed the conflux of the two purest rivers namely Bhagirathi and Alaknanda at Devprayag. From Devprayag then we made our journey to Srinagar which was of around 40 kilometres. After an hour of drive, we reached Rudraprayag which was around 33 kilometres from Devprayag. There, we found the confluence of the river Mandakini and Alaknanda.  After undertaking the absolutely wondrous Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek , me and my group of three friends decided to undertake the beautiful Dayara Bugyal Trek in December . The whole journey was so thrilling that we have been filled with freshness and sheer positivity for a much-needed time.  Each year I challenge myself to take up at least two treks, and this year, the Brahmatal Trek and the Kuari Pass Trek had to be on my bucket list. On My Way to the Brahmatal Trek My Brahmatal trek journey started with landing in Dehradun and then a drive from Dehradun to Lohajung.
