The base camp is Sankari, Uttarakhand. The Kedarkantha trek is a 6-day trek with an elevation of 12,500 feet. As I said before, it is quite an easy trek, to begin with, anyone above the age of 10 is eligible to do this trek. The cherry on top is that this trek can be done from October to April, meaning you can utilise and plan your Diwali or Christmas vacation, by trekking.
