The sunset at Lohajung is absolutely stunning and the views of Nanda Ghunti peak are sure to render you speechless. Lohajung got its name as it is believed to be the place where Goddess Parvati had a war (which in Hindi is called Jung), with Lohasur. The journey will take around 11 hours and you will reach an elevation of 7,662 km. The next day, the journey towards Bekatal begins. It takes around 4–5 hours to reach the campsite, which sits at an elevation of 9,876 ft. The distance of 6.3 km is filled with various floras. You will have gorgeous views of oak trees and alpine meadows keeping you company. The views of Nanda Ghunti peak would also keep you entrained. The next task to accomplish is the travel from Bekatal to Brahmatal campsite. The campsite is 4.5 km away and would take about 4–5 hours to reach. For the first hour, you would be graced with the company of Brahmatal lake while your ascent. The Shivalik range, as well as the Greater Himalayas, are visible making the journey even more alluring.
